Welcome To Spirit Of Faith Bible Training Ministries!

We’re thrilled that you’re here. We expect great things to happen in your life, both during this school year and in the years to come. SOFBTM was established to equip men and women for the work of the ministry. Although we expect that you will see personal spiritual development and growth while you are here, our sole purpose is not to mature you in the Word or in your walk with the Spirit of God only. Our goal is to provide you with tools with which you can reach out to meet the needs of others.

You will receive from your training at Spirit of faith Bible Training Ministries exactly what you put into it-no more, no less. If you apply yourself diligently to your studies and to your personal devotional life, you will leave SOF read to stand ministry to which God has called you. Should you fail to apply yourself and, instead, develop a complacency toward all that is available for you at SOF, your life will reflect this attitude and your ministry will never get off the ground. It would be wise for you to heed the words written to believers in Galatians 6:7-8 “Be not deceived; God is not mocked; for whatsoever a man soweth to the spirit shall of the spirit reap life everlasting.

Your preparation for the ministry is a very serious responsibility and must not be treated lightly. It is important that you realize that the time you spend in training at SOF will shape the course of your future effectiveness in ministry.

Have a great year! Together, let’s determine to press on to the things of God and get the most out of every learning experience that is presented.

Brief History of the Bible school

Rev. Billy & Eltha Banks attended RHEMA bible training centre USA and he graduated in 2001. They have been in the ministry for over 25 years and have 3 children and 4 grand-children. Since inception in 2012 we have graduated 5 classes with a total of 132 graduates this is from Kenya and Uganda. They it stated because God Directed them to start Bible school  to impact Kenya with living word of God.

 

 

Statement of faith

What we believe

• The Bible is the divinely inspired Word of God.
• Our God is one, but manifested in three persons – The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
• Man is a created being, made in the likeness and image of God, but through Adam’s transgression and fall, sin came into the world.
• Salvation is the gift of god to man through faith in Jesus Christ
• The new birth is necessary to all men and when experienced, produces eternal life.
• Baptism in water is by immersion, is a direct commandment of our Lord, and is for believers only.
• The baptism in the Holy Ghost is a gift and is accompanied by the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues.
• We believe in sanctification, which is living a life of holiness.
• Healing is the privilege of every member of the church today provided through Jesus death on the cross.
• Jesus will return and “… The dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air…” (1 Thess. 4:16 – 17)
• The one who physically dies in sins without accepting Christ eternally lost and, therefore, has no further opportunity of hearing the Gospel of repenting.
